Hi Debbie here are a number of options for you. M&S have Ravens Oak in Bournemouth and Castlepoint. Tesco have Ravens Oak on the deli in Bournemouth (but it is called Whitehaven!). Asda in Bournemouth has Kidderton Ash. Also it is worth mentioning to the local manager of your Tesco as he might well be able to get it in? And finally, everything is available in our online web shop! Hope that all helps your search.
Q : Horns dam

Hi, i have recently tried a cheese called horns dam, which looks similar to the blacksticks blue but tastes slightly different. I have been told it is made in garstang and was wondering if it is one of your cheeses as no other cheesemongers seem to know of any other dairys in your area and suggested it may be one of yours. Thanks

Hi Sandra, well this is in fact Blacksticks Blue! We had one particular supplier that was keen to have their very own name for the cheese and came up with Horns Dam. Hope this helps!

Last night we went to a Michelin star restaurant in wales. Paul ordered cheese and you will be pleased to hear they were featuring blacksticks blue. Most of the cheese on the board was Welsh but very few english cheese made it. It was of course delicious !!!

I've been a fan of Blacksticks Blue for quite a while now, so when I saw Blacksticks White I had to try it. Lovely creaminess with rounded bitterness. Goes very well with granary toast and a nice hoppy ale. Beautiful cheese. Thanks! Already on second pack...
Olly.

Q : Beacon Blue

From: Mike, High Wycombe

Having found Beacon Blue in a Tesco store in Pembrokeshire and deciding it was probably the best cheese I'd ever eaten I returned to purchase more. Regrettably by then they were by then out of stock. I've tried several different supermarkets since but have been unable to find it. Do you know of any stockists in the High Wycombe area?

Hi Mike I can point you in the direction of Tesco in High Wycombe (Loudwater) and M&S in Beaconsfield, Bucks. If not there please do ask them as it should be! Beacon Blue is also the same as our Blacksticks Silk (just to confuse you!). Do keep an eye in smaller delis and market stalls as some of these are starting to stock it. Hope this helps you?

Newly discovered I introduced Blacksticks Blue to my cheese board on for 10 on New Year's Day - there was definately not enough to go round! Since then myself and others at the table have bought it at the Dingwall branch of Tesco until suddenly 4 weeks ago it disappeared. I hope this is just a blip in supplies and that it will be available again soon.

Hi Cath, we've had a look into this and it does seem that Tesco in Dingwall is not stocking Blacksticks Blue right now! We have tracked it to Tesco and M&S in Inverness but I appreciate that is a bit further for you. I would suggest that you speak to the manager of Dingwall store and ask him to stock it as this can really have an effect. Alternatively the deli (if asked) should be able to get hold of Blacksticks White? And if all of that fails our webshop will be launching at the end of the month and will most definitely be stocking Blacksticks Blue. Hope that all helps!

This is my guilty pleasure. Is there any chance of seeing individually wrapped cubes at a later date?

Hi Keith, unfortunately it's not really possible to cube Blacksticks Blue. As it's a soft cheese, once cubed and packaged the cubes would stick together and not stay as individual pieces. We do however hope to launch a spreadable Blacksticks in the near future which might be of interest to you?

Hi Viv, we've had quite a few enquiries like this in the past. Unfortunately the sizes of our whole regional cheeses (20kg, 14kg) are just too large to be used as a tier, and the way in which we cut them smaller then means they aren't the correct shape to be used (they end up wedge shaped and not a flat
ring!) We would suggest searching on the internet and do know of a few people that have used The Teddington Cheese Company before. Of course our cheeses are fantastic if you decide upon a cheeseboard at the wedding! Hope this helps and good luck with it all.

Hi,
I grew up in Chorley, near Preston, and ate Lancashire cheese regularly. I've been looking for Lancashire cheese over here in the US since I moved a few years ago, and read that you export cheese. Could you tell me where I can buy your cheese in the states, and if there is any around the Massachusetts area?
Thanks,
Holly |

Hi Holly, we have checked this out for you and have been told of 2 stores that might be able to help you, both in Manhattan: Graces Market Place; Westerly Natural Market
I do hope that this helps in your search. Glad to hear that you love our Lancashire. |

Hi folks!
Butlers cheeses are constantly in my fridge. Bit of a cheese addict! You used to do spreadable in a smallgreen pot with chives i think. I have not been able to find it for a long time. Have you discontinued it?
Keep up the great work! |

Hi Kelly, very pleased that we live in your fridge lots! The cheese you mention we no longer make I am afraid. We do however do a spreadable fresh goats cheese, available at M&S. It might be your thing? Hope this helps.
