From: damaris herriot, northampton 24/12/2009
gorgeous cheese!! i have always liked blue cheese but usually stick to the brie type as i prefer their texture but i am converted to this superbly smooth and creamy dream of a cheese, i will also be trying some of your other varieties as i am sure they will also tickle my tastebuds!!!

Q : Blacksticks white
From: Gerald Shaw, United Kingdom 15/12/2009
I had never of Blacksticks (white or any other colour) until my wife brought some home today. She brught a small prepacked portion from Tesco and it is delicious. Is it sold loose in any stores. (Twickenham way)

Hi Gerald I am glad to hear you like Blacksticks. Blacksticks White is generally sold pre packed. Blacksticks Blue is sold on Morrisons deli if there is one close to you? You will also find Blacksticks in a number of independent delicatessens on their cheese counter. I hope this helps?

Hi, we have tried to find the lovely Goosnargh Gold cheese in all our local supermarkets, but unfortunately can't find it. Can you tell us where we can buy some?

Hi, you will be able to find it in Booths, it is Butlers Vintage Double Gloucester Rinded and can be found on the deli counter and currently showing as being stocked in the Clitheroe, Fulwood & Garstang stores.

Q : Blacksticks Blue.
From: Dave, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. 24/11/2009
Hi,..I recentley visited family in Wakefield England, & purchased Blacksticks Blue @ Asda. As a Blue Cheese lover, this was the best by far. Do you export your products to Canada?. We have Wal-Mart stores here, & they own Asda...A Major potential!

Hi Dave I am afraid that we don't export our cheeses to Canada at all. Glad to hear that you enjoyed Blacksticks.
Q : Safe to eat in Pregnancy?
From: Gemma Matthews, frome 22/11/2009
I love Blacksticks blue but as I am now pregnant, thought it would be best to check it is safe to eat in pregnancy. Hoping the answer is yes and that I can stock up for Christmas.

From: Sarah Jones (Technical), Butlers 01/12/2009
Hi Gemma thanks for your email. Unfortunately the experts recommend that us pregnant ladies don't eat blue or mould ripened cheeses, to be on the
safe side. I am 7 months pregnant and it has been very hard resisting all our
lovely Blacksticks blue and Ravens Oak cheeses. When I go on maternity
leave next month I will be taking home some Blacksticks ready to celebrate when the baby comes! Good luck with your pregnancy.
Q : out of sight
From: Mrs. Chris Riches., West Wickham Kent 31/10/2009
Hello, I went to get some Blackstick Blue from Sainsburys at Locksbottom Farnborough kent, i looked and looked after about 10 mins I found it pushed right at the back of the cabinet behind some of sainsbury's cheese, i think may be you could ask them to make sure your cheese is showing in its right slot.

Hi Chris thanks for the message. It is extremely helpful for you to give us feedback like this as we can pass it directly back to Sainsbury's - hopefully that will improve the visibility of our cheeses in your Farnborough store. Keep us posted!
